iOS App Icon Generator by CiihuyCom

Posted on June 26, 2025June 26, 2025 by Habibie

This iOS App Icon Generator simplifies the process of creating all necessary icon sizes for your iOS applications. Instead of manually resizing your main app icon image to various dimensions, this tool automates the process and packages them correctly, along with the essential Contents.json file, into a single downloadable ZIP archive.

It supports all standard iOS icon sizes for iPhone, iPad, and iOS Marketing (App Store) icons, ensuring your app looks perfect across all Apple devices and platforms.

How to Use This Tool

  1. Prepare Your Image: Ensure you have your main app icon image ready. For best results, use a 1024×1024 pixel PNG image. This resolution allows the tool to generate high-quality icons for all required sizes.
  2. Upload Your Image: Click the “Choose Image” button in the upload area. A file selection dialog will appear. Browse and select your 1024×1024 app icon file.
  3. Preview: Once uploaded, a preview of your icon will appear below the upload area. This helps you confirm that the correct image has been selected.
  4. Generate Icons: After the preview loads, the “Generate & Download ZIP” button will become active. Click this button to initiate the icon generation process.
  5. Download ZIP: The tool will process your image and automatically download a ZIP file named AppIcon.appiconset.zip. This archive contains all the generated icon sizes and the Contents.json file.
  6. Integrate into Xcode:
    • Unzip the downloaded AppIcon.appiconset.zip file.
    • Open your Xcode project.
    • In the Project Navigator, navigate to your Assets.xcassets folder.
    • Drag and drop the unzipped AppIcon.appiconset folder directly into your Assets.xcassets in Xcode, replacing any existing AppIcon set.

Your app now has all the necessary icons correctly configured!
